I was raised as a Catholic and can remember spending (too) many Sunday mornings in cold churches. Our priest, as I recall, was always sermonising against the sort of thing you see on display here. I've always loved this tune but don't know, and choose not to know, anything about The Civil Wars; the whole are they/aren't they? thing isn't really my bag. But I'm guessing when
