Egg-bound

My love of eggs is no secret. And since I've had more time on my hands just lately I'm able to spend longer over breakfast than usual. As you can imagine, eggs loom large. Poached, scrambled, boiled (with soldiers), eggs benedict, egg shakshuka, are constantly rotated. I'm even buying vintage eggcups online such is my obsession with the oeuf. (I blame Matt in The Abdication for putting me onto Omelegg last time we were in Amsterdam). That and the amazing CackleBean eggs Lucy sells in Kraft Werks (the Pantone reference for the colour of their yokes hasn't even been invented yet).

Couple all this activity with another culinary infatuation of mine - curry - and it's no surprise that egg and tomato curries are getting a lot of bandwidth currently in the Medd kitchen. Easy to prepare, easy to cook - what's not to like? While I've got you, here's another egg related question...

The letters which though find'st about me

Seek him out upon the British Party
      O, untimely death, death."

      "I know thee well
A serviceable villain, as duteous to the Vices of thy Mistress
      As badness would desire"
      "What, is is he dead?"
"Sit you down, Father, rest you."

  3. I'm a big egg fan too. I'm sure my colleagues are a little bemused at my daily hard boiled egg in the staff room at lunchtime.

  4. Some of my younger colleagues roll out of bed at 5.30am for their 6 o'clock start, sucking down a couple of energy drinks on the drive into work, whereas my alarm goes off at 4, allowing me plenty of time for a pot (or two) of coffee and a 3 egg scramble. I'm good to go until the middle of the day, if not later, while they are invariably flailing by 7.30.
