2011 has seen the launch of Medd's Bread: inspired by an article written by Sue Nowak of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), John has been making unique bread with ullage (the residue at the bottom of a beer barrel) from many Yorkshire ales and selling them at his local pub.
Such is the interest that in addition to local and regional press coverage, John has been asked to speak at this years's Great British Beer Festival in Earls Court, London.
