Not sure if their coat hangers are made to the same high standards as they were back in the 50s & 60s though!John Meddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547777949324509522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3248139855347807926.post-46654940497704847042020-07-06T16:21:59.171+01:002020-07-06T16:21:59.171+01:00A lovely thing to own. I have hundreds more photos from dad he gave me on Friday and there are mystery women (and men, and children, and dogs!) galore; even he doesn't know some of them.

Ah, record fairs. Every Saturday I would disappear to some far flung hotel/sports hall/town hall and spend all day in there breaking only for a pie and a pint at lunchtime. Happy days.

DeleteJohn Meddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547777949324509522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3248139855347807926.post-45150673733415239172020-07-05T11:14:48.124+01:002020-07-05T11:14:48.124+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.John Meddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547777949324509522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3248139855347807926.post-8435471967003976732020-07-05T10:01:01.594+01:002020-07-05T10:01:01.594+01:00Lovely. Re-reading your post about your pop, did you ever find out any more about the mystery woman in the photo?!
I'm glad you clarified about the orderly pile. I was starting to worry.
Also - back in the '80s I went to many a record fair held at that Bonnington Hotel! The name brings back memories of my own - the smell of musty vinyl mingling with cigarette smoke and observing that fascinating species of collectors!Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02423624920558505937noreply@blogger.com
